Frequently Asked Questions
How do I share the password securely with the recipient?
Never send the password in the same email as the encrypted PDF. Recommended methods: phone, SMS, or a messaging app. For recurring recipients, save a fixed password in the built-in password manager – it will be reused automatically on the next send. Teams can use the shared password database (Pro feature).
Can the add-in be rolled out tenant-wide for all employees?
Classic version: Yes, the MSI installer can be distributed via Group Policy (GPO), SCCM, or Intune to all workstations. New version (new Outlook / M365): A centralized rollout via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center is not currently possible. Each user adds the add-in once from AppSource themselves. We are working on an Admin Deployment option. For Enterprise rollouts, please contact us.
